Funny but ended well.... I am a lover of pawpaw so I bough pawpaw I told the seller I love crunchy pawpaw and he assured me the pawpaw he gave me was it... So to cut the long story short I ended up with an unripe pawpaw... I was upset but I had to think I can't throw this away so I did a little research and here is the result...

Ingredients

  1. 1unripe Pawpaw
  2. 4 cupswater
  3. 200 gmSugar
  4. 1 tspflavor
  5. 1 cupwater
  6. Red food color
  7. Green food color
  8. Yellow Food Color

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and peel the raw pawpaw.

    Cut into cubes and boil in 4 cups water

  3. 3

    Cook until the pawpaw cubes turn into semi-transparent.

    Drain and allow to cool

  5. 5

    Put 1 cup of water and sugar into the pot allow to boil for 20 minutes until sugar melts

    Add boiled pawpaw and allow to boil for a few minutes

    Add flavor

    Divide the cooked pawpaw cubes into 3 parts along with sugar syrup.

    Add 3 drops of red, yellow and green food colour to each part and mix well.

    Allow to soak for 12 hours or a day making sure pawpaw absorbs all the colour.

    Now drain off the sugar syrup and allow them to dry over kitchen towel.

    I dry in the oven... With the oven door open for 45 minutes... You can sun dry

    Once the tutti-frutti dries off completely it will not be sticky. You then mix the colours together.

    Your tutti frutti is ready to consume immediately or refrigerate for later use
