Cooking Instructions
- 1
Take a heavy pan and add milk to it and heat it on a medium flame. You have to be patient and keep stirring the milk continuously.
- 2
After 1 hour you will notice tht the color of milk is changing and it has thickened. Keep stirring from bottom. One more hour and it’s more thickened. Now add milk powder slowly & gradually. Mix this and keep stirring. One more hour and now you can see tht milk is solid. Keep stirring until maava stops sticking to the pan. Now add sugar and keep stirring until maava stops sticking.
- 3
Put off the flame & let the maava cool down. Now make two portions. Add your preferred colors to these portions. I have taken red for one & green for another. Take some ghee in your palms and start making balls. Now place green ball first in the mould topped with red. And vice a versa for opposite appearance. Unmould it and pendas are ready to go

Mitha Dali Mitha Dali
#colouryellowMy mother some times cook Mitha Dali ("Sweet Dal"), since we all are not fond of dal so much therefore I always try to make different and innovative dishes based on dal. Today I have shared her recipe, wherein various ingredients such as ginger, cumin seeds, sugar, and ghee are used. You may alternatively add jaggery instead of sugar. This is my favourite dal, and we all love this dal very much. Sushree Satapathy -

Puto Paw Puto Paw
Puto Pao the siopao filling can be either pork or chicken. It mainly depends on what you prefer. The puto’s softness delightfully complements and balances the savory taste of the filling. The muffin-like buns perfectly blend in with the sweetened porkflakes that make up the filling which is locally called Asado. You can add salt egg and cheese at the top or it can be optional.
