Ingredients

  1. Ingredients to temper
  2. 2 tbspOil
  3. 1/2 tspMustard seeds
  4. 1 tbspfenugreek seeds
  5. 1/2 tspAsafoetida
  6. 2 tspCurry leaves
  7. Other Ingredients
  8. 1/4 cupTuar dal
  9. 1lemon size Tamarind
  10. 1/2 cupRice flour
  11. 1/2 tbspSambhar powder
  12. 1/2 tspJaggery
  13. to tastesalt
  14. as neededwater

Cooking Instructions

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat kadai and add the ingredients to temper.

  2. 2

    Add toor dal to it and pour tamarind water. Allow to cook.

  3. 3

    Add sambar powder, jaggery and salt.

  4. 4

    Once toor dal is cooked pour the rice flour mixed with water. Allow to boil.

  5. 5

    Once the smell of rice flour goes off, switch off the flame. Serve hot.
