Ingredients

  1. For batter :
  2. 1 cup moong dal /yellow gram
  3. to tasteSalt
  4. 3Green chilli
  5. 1 inch Small piece ginger
  6. Pinchhing
  7. For filling:
  8. 100 gm paneer grated
  9. 1/4 cuppeas boiled
  10. as requiredGreen coriander
  11. as per tasteSalt
  12. as requiredChilli powder
  13. 1/4 tspChat masala

    Soak moong dal gram for 2 hours. Grind soaked moong dal with ginger, chilies, salt,hing in a mixer to a smooth batter adding enough water.The batter should have a consistency like a dosa batter.

    For filling, boil peas and add in grated paneer. Add salt chilli powder and chat masala. Mix it well

    The process of making moong dal chilla is same as dosa. Heat a tawa. Pour some water clean it with cloth and then apply 1drop oil and similar clean it with cloth lightly. Then pour batter on tawa. And spread it.

    Now spread 1tblsp of filling on it.. Cook for 1-2 minutes and fold it.

    Cut from middle and serve with tamarind chutney.
