Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1/2 cupyellow moong dal(Split), Soaked for 3-4 hours
  2. to taste Salt
  3. 1 pinchhing
  4. 2 pinchessugar
  5. 1 tspgreen chilli paste
  6. 1 tbspbesan
  7. 10 tbspcrumbled low fat paneer
  8. 5 tbspfinely chopped coriander
  9. as per taste Chat masala
  10. 3 tsppeanut oil for greasing and cooking

Steps

  1. 1

    To make moong dal and paneer chilla, combine the moong dal along with little water and blend ina mixer till smooth

  2. 2

    Transfer it to a bowl, add the salt, hing, sugar abd green chilli paste snd mix well

  3. 3

    Heat 1/4 tsp of oil in a non-stick tawa and pour the batter and spread it evenly to make a thin round

  4. 4

    Sprinkle 2 tbsp low fat paneer,1 tbsp coriander and 1/4 tsp chat masala and cook on a medium flame using 1/2 tsp of oil till they turn golden brown in colour fromboth sides

  5. 5

    Repeat with the remaining ingredients to make 2-3 more moong dal and paneer chilla

  6. 6

    Serve the moong dal and paneer chilla immediately.
