  1. 2 lblean ground beef
  2. 1pablano pepper diced
  3. 1med yellow onion diced
  4. 2 (14.5 oz)cans diced fire roasted tomatoes
  5. 1 (6 oz)can tomato paste
  6. 2 tspneed better than bouillon
  7. 1 (12 oz)bottle of dark beer or ipa
  8. 1 1/2 tbspchili powder
  9. 11/2 tbspsmoked paprika
  10. 1 1/2 tsponion powder
  11. 1 tspgarlic powder
  12. 1 tspcumin
  13. 1 1/2 tspsalt
  14. 1 tspsalt
  15. 4-6 clovesgarlic minced
  16. 2 tbspoil
  17. Garnishes
  18. chopped cilantro
  19. diced onion
  20. shredded cabbage
  21. lime wedges
  22. sour cream
  23. cheese

Cooking Instructions

    Heat the 2 tbsp oil in a 4.5qt or larger Dutch Oven over med heat. Add onions and peppers and cook for about 2 minutes.

    Add ground beef and break up with a wooden spoon. cook until no longer pink. drain grease if you did not use a lean beef. add minced garlic and stir for 1 min more.

    Add all your spices and tomato paste. stir to incorporate and cook for about 2 minutes. add better than bouillon and stir until dissolved.

    Add bottle of beer and sommer for 2 minutes.

    Add both cans of diced tomatoes.

    Simmer covered for 1 hour on low heat.

  7. 7

    Serve and top with favorite garnishes.
