Mince meat is great on pastries and stuff like mac and cheese but add it to whole dishes like rice, noodles and it looses its presence, so i came up with this sauce and my oh my, the meat is there, the vegies are crunchy, you just need to try it

Ingredients

  1. Minced meat 1 kilo
  2. Mixed Bell peppers (sliced)
  3. Onions (sliced)
  4. 1/4 cupsoy sauce
  5. 1/4 cupketchup
  6. 1/4 cupoyster sauce
  7. 1 tablespoonGinger and garlic paste
  8. 1 tablespoonBlack and white pepper
  9. to tasteSalt and seasoning
  10. 1/4 cupsesame oil
  11. Parsley for garnishing
  12. 1 cupcarrots (scraped and sliced)

Cooking Instructions

    Add sesame oil to the pan, let it heat up, then add hinger and garlic paste

  2. 2

    Add the sliced onions and sauté for couple of minutes

  3. 3

    Add the minced meat, but be careful not to over mix it, you want the meat to be in chunks

  4. 4

    In a bowl, mix, ketchup, oyster sauce and soy sauce, then set aside

  5. 5

    Add the sliced carrots to the ground beef, let it cook for few minutes

  6. 6

    Add in the ketchup mixture and stir, let it cook for 3 minutes

  7. 7

    Add the bell peppers, seasonings, and spices

  8. 8

    Let it simmer for 3 minutes then serve with cooked long grain basmati rice
