Ingredients

  1. 1/4 kgkamande
  2. 3large potatoes
  3. 1onion, chopped
  4. 3tomatoes, blended
  5. 2 clovesgarlic, minced
  6. 1carrot small dice
  7. 1whole green chilli
  8. To taste salt
  9. 2 cthin coconut milk
  10. 1 cheavy coconut milk
  11. 1 TBSoil

Cooking Instructions

    Sort the kamande, wash and boil till cooked. About 30mins

    In a separate sufuria, put oil and heat. Fry onions till slightly browned

  3. 3

    Add garlic. Fry for a min. Add tomatoes, peeled and washed potatoes cut into cubes, carrots and fry for about 3 mins stirring occasionally

    Add the thin coconut milk and chilli, simmer till the potatoes are almost cooked through

  5. 5

    Add the boiled kamande, stir and add salt to taste and the heavy coconut milk. Simmer till thickened

  6. 6

    Serve hot with mahamri, chapati or rice
