Marbled Loaf Bread

I was thinking of baking a Pullman loaf, good for a gift, and the I saw the beautiful color of the "Kyoto Sanshoku". I came up with the idea to change the strawberry dough to purple potato dough, and I baked the bread with the ingredients on hand.
I gave up baking the danish loaf because of the hot weather. In stead of that, I put heavy cream in the dough to give the bread a rich flavor.
Adjust the amount of purple sweet potato and matcha powder to your liking! I think more richier matcha dough would be nice. (- )ムムム
I'm proud of myself to have make this recipe because of the beautiful colour of the bread slice.
The bread is fluffy because of the heavy cream, egg and cake flour in the dough.
It is very delicious. :) Recipe by Youtank

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Put the bread flour, cake flour, sugar, salt, butter, heavy cream, milk, eggs and dry yeast in the bread maker, and make a dough. Let it knead (for about 20 minutes), and take out the dough and divide it into three. Put the sweet potato powder and one dough piece in the bread maker, and let it work for about 5 minutes.
- 2
While the bread maker is operating, combine the matcha powder and another dough piece, and knead with your hands to mix the powder evenly. If the dough is sticky, dust your hands with flour. You have three colors of dough.
- 3
Shape the dough into smooth balls, and cover with a wet tea towel. Let it rise. The photo shows the dough after rising.
- 4
Let the dough rise for 15 minutes. Stretch the dough into the log which is slightly longer than the length of the loaf pan. Braid the dough together. Place the dough into the pan, be careful not to change the shape. The dough has same colour as dango ball skewers.
- 5
Let it rise again. When the dough fills 80 - 90 % of the loaf pan, cover with the lid. Bake for 30 minutes at 200℃.
- 6
Remove the lid and drop the bread on a work surface to let the steam out. It is fluffy and soft, so cool it down first then slice. It's done.
- 7
All slices have different patters because of the braided dough. This is easy to bake but looks gorgeous.
- 8
Also, this is good for a gift.

I ran out of bread for the next morning! And to make things worse, I have no time!So I wondered if I could just shorten the time it takes to make my usual bread and came up with this recipe.Baking the bread from a cold start (baking from a low temperature) helps the yeast to perform at it's maximum strength and allows the dough to rise very well. The times will change depending on the temperature, dough temperature, etc. so keep your eye on it as it rises. Recipe by chi-chan cookpad.japan -

Simple loaf of bread Simple loaf of bread
So here’s a simple loaf of bread I made at the weekend, and my favorite topping for this, toasted. I have never been a baker, and this is my first real attempt at baking in five years- the previous attempt were some scones that had the dense mass of a newly formed black hole. So rest assured, if I am able to do this, literally anybody can. There’s something so much more satisfying about taking chunks off of a loaf made with your own hands. Every egg and bacon sandwich tastes like victory. And your home will smell lovely. Yes it takes about three hours. But about two and a half of those are spent doing nothing, so it’s not so hard. Square Bread Loaf (Bread Maker Dough) Square Bread Loaf (Bread Maker Dough)
*I made this simple since its heartiness and flavor will vary depending on what you put on top of it or what you serve with it.*When you are using flour that's milled from domesticaly grown wheat, use slightly less water.*The temperature and baking time are just suggestions since they will differ depending on the oven. If the surface is getting burnt, cover with aluminium foil, and turn down the temperature.*When you are turning the pan during Step ⑦, do it quickly so that the inside temperature of the oven won't drop. Chocolate Marble Bread Made in a Bread Machine Chocolate Marble Bread Made in a Bread Machine
I made this chocolate marble bread at my children's request. An important point of Step 8 is to leave space for the dough to rise after you put it back in the bread pan.The second rising may not be long enough when made in a bread machine so the pattern may come out a bit checkered.Personally, I think it might be better to let the dough rise for a second time, then bake it in the oven, but it tastes just as good made in a bread machine, and you can still see a nice marbled pattern.
