Not so Sweet! Homemade Marshmallows

I think store-bought marshmallows are bit too sweet, so I wanted to make one that I like.
Dusting the marshmallows after cutting prevents the pieces from sticking. Dust with skim milk, cocoa, powdered green tea, matcha, roasted soy bean powder, ground sesame or any other powder you like to enjoy different variations of this homemade marshmallow! Recipe by Spain

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Put the gelatin and water marked ☆ in a mug or container to soften the gelatin. Whip the egg white and sugar to make a hard meringue.
- 2
Microwave the mug at 900W for about 30-40 seconds until the gelatin dissolves completely. Add to the meringue and whip well.
- 3
Pour into a container and let it cool down to harden. Then it's done!
- 4
You can take the marshmallow out easily. Flip the container over, and cut the marshmallow into small squares. Dust with your favorite powder and serve.
- 5
I poured the mixture at Step 2 into heart shaped silicone molds, and froze them. You can freeze them just like in.

This is another variation. I dropped the mixture from a spoon and topped with walnut, my favorite. Let them cool down until they set!
- 7
I piped the mixture like fresh cream, then let them cool to set.

Strawberry Guimauve Marshmallows Strawberry Guimauve Marshmallows
I made these for a girlie meet-up this spring. These marshmallows make great presents to take to a friend's house or as a Valentine's Day gift, since I don't think Valentine's Day should be just about chocolate! The recipe is adapted from an American one that I've improved on over the years. Since they don't contain any egg whites, even small children can safely eat them! You can replace the strawberry purée with store-bought fruit syrup or a liqueur, such as Cointreau. When cutting the marshmallows, dust the surface and knife with flour to prevent sticking. Frozen Marshmallows Frozen Marshmallows
I froze marshmallows to keep them soft and tasty and to prevent them from going stale. I ate frozen marshmallows straight out of the freezer and they were delicious, so I posted this recipe. If you store leftover marshmallows at room temperature, they'll become hard and unpalatable. This is a method to prevent marshmallows from becoming stale, but actually, I prefer them frozen. And the best thing about this is that you can keep them nice and tasty for months! Calling all of the ladies who crave chocolate: see notes. My kids went nuts over this. I can't wait to take this to cook outs .... I posted the homemade version but you can cheat like I did and use box brownies and frosting if you don’t have the time or just being lazy lol 😂 heat up the frosting some if you go this route it will make it easier to spread on the marshmallows. Easy and Authentic Chocolate Marshmallow Nuts Square Easy and Authentic Chocolate Marshmallow Nuts Square
The chocolate with marshmallows was so delicious, so I re-created it. It has a rich and extravagant flavor because I add all types of nuts.I use 5 sheets of 60 g "Morinaga" milk chocolate bars. Adding cocoa powder enriches the cacao taste. You don't have to add it. I use walnuts, peanuts, almonds, cashew nuts and pistachios. Adjust the amount of nuts and marshmallows. For 18 pieces/about 5 x 5 x 1 cm [2.0 x 2.0 x 0.4 in] square. Recipe by VitaminY cookpad.japan -
Easy Ice Cream Made with Marshmallows Easy Ice Cream Made with Marshmallows
I wanted to make a rich ice cream without using heavy cream or eggs!If you don't add anything to this recipe, it'll taste and smell like marshmallows. It's still good, but I recommend adding jam, so you can enjoy all kinds of flavors. If you stir it up halfway through, it is creamier, but you can make it without this step. If you omit this step, try spreading out the mixture in a large container and stir it up just before serving. If the ice cream is too hard when you take it out of the freezer, leave it for 5 minutes, then poke the sides and top with a fork and stir it around. It will melt fairly easily. It's spring, so I made a strawberry version of this marshmallow recipe. If you don't have a hand mixer, crush the strawberries with a spatula in step 1. When piping out the mixture, the work surface should be on the large side. If you have a 50 x 50 cm surface it should be easier to work.Use the piping tip that comes with fresh cream and cut it to make the mouth bigger. Recipe by Seikomaru cookpad.japan -
