I simpified the recipe as much as possible.Hamburger steaks puff up when they are cooked, so if you make the patties rather thin they'll cook through faster. Recipe by Kajioyaji cookpad.japan -

Juicy Hamburger Steaks Juicy Hamburger Steaks
I took tips from various recipes as reference, and came up with my own version![Tip 1] Knead the meat in 2 batches, kneading it the first time until the meat becomes fluffy.[Tip 2] Make sure to thoroughly remove trapped air pockets when molding the patties (or else they will break apart when cooking).[Tip 3] Pour boiling water into the pan to prevent the temperature of the pan from dropping. For 2 servings (3 hamburgers). Recipe by Annakarenina cookpad.japan -

Quick and Easy Simmered Hamburger Steaks Quick and Easy Simmered Hamburger Steaks
The recipes I saw on Cookpad for simmered hamburgers didn't have sugar, so they were all a bit too sour for me...I wanted to have something a little sweeter for kids, so I tried it this way. These basic hamburgers are delicious and great for locomoco rice bowls. It's hard to cook potatoes or carrots all the way through this way, so first heat in the microwave, then simmer.Simmering the hamburgers will ensure they're not under-cooked, but they will be soft and juicy. Hamburger Steaks with Mushroom-Onion Gravy Hamburger Steaks with Mushroom-Onion Gravy
Back in the 1950s-60s we called this Salisbury steak. It's basically a meatloaf mixture (no ketchup) formed into patties served with a brown gravy. A retro dish the younger generation is unfamiliar with. Everything old is new again. Maggie Conlon -
Stewed Hamburger Steak Stewed Hamburger Steak
My child doesn't eat so much so I wanted to make a meat dish that my child would love! You can make it with the things you already have at home and kids and also adults like it. It is even a big hit when you serve it to guests! It looks like there are many things to do but I just wrote it down in detail, so the process itself is easy! My homemade hamburger is with bread crumbs, stir fried onions and with lots of milk so it becomes soft. But there are also things to make the hamburger to stick so don't worry. Taste it and add water if it is too strong. Recipe by Toiroiro cookpad.japan
