Many bread recipes call for egg, so I thought of an egg-less version and got to this recipe. You can save on the cost of eggs too!

This is too simple maybe?? But it is delicious. Recipe by Tonkorori

Ingredients

10 servings
  1. 200 gramsBread (strong) flour
  2. 2 gramsDry yeast
  3. 15 gramsSugar
  4. 2 gramsSalt
  5. 8 gramsSkim milk powder
  6. 130 mlWater
  7. 20 gramsButter

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Put all the ingredients in a bread machine, and press start. (Use the "dough" program.)

  2. 2

Take the dough out, and divide it into 10 pieces. Round off each piece, cover with a tightly wrung out moistened kitchen towel and leave to rest for 15 minutes. (I use a bread mat.)

  3. 3

Form each one into an oval shape, and roll out thinly with a rolling pin (about 10 cm long).

  4. 4

Roll up the dough starting from the side near you. Place the formed rolls on a piece of kitchen parchment paper and let them rise (2nd rising) for 35 minutes at 40 °C.

  5. 5

Bake in a preheated 170 °C oven for 15 minutes. (Normally you'd glaze the rolls with egg wash before baking, but I skipped that.)
