Hot Banana Cocoa

One night, I wanted to have something sweet, but I'm trying to cut back on calories, so I thought up this drink. If you're a dieter (like me), you can try this in place of your snack!

If you're using ripened bananas, you can probably skip the heating in Step 1. I use a microwave at 500 W, so the cooking times are for my microwave. Please adjust the amount of cocoa and bananas to taste.
The amount I used, however, results in a smooth and sweet drink.

Hot Banana Cocoa

Ingredients

1 serving
  1. 5 sliceBanana
  2. 3 tspMilk cocoa powder
  3. 200 mlMilk
  4. 1Cinnamon powder (to taste)

Cooking Instructions

    Put the banana slices in a mug and heat in the microwave for about 20 seconds.

  2. 2

    Put in just enough milk to cover the bananas and add the cocoa. Cover with plastic wrap and heat in the microwave for another 30 seconds.

  3. 3

    Mash the banana with a spoon while mixing in the milk. Pour in enough milk to fill the cup. (Or to fill it as high as you like.)

  4. 4

    Cover with plastic wrap again and heat in the microwave for about 1 minute 30 seconds. Enjoy while warm.
