Ingredients

10 minutes
  1. 2big Green Mangoes
  2. 2 teaspoonsRoasted cumin seeds
  3. 1 tablespoonKala namak (Black salt)
  4. 1/2 teaspoonCrushed back pepper
  5. 6 tablespoonsGrated Jaggery
  6. 4 cupsWater
  7. As RequiredLots of Fresh Mint leaves

Cooking Instructions

10 minutes
  1. 1

    Wash and clean mangoes
    Put them in a pressure cooker with 1 glass of water and mint leaves.
    cook for 3-4 whistles.

    Once they cool down, open the cooker and take out the mangoes
    Discard the skin and take out pulp with a spoon.

    When the pulp cools down take it to a blender and add spices and grated jaggery.

  4. 4

    Give a nice churn so that mango chunks become paste nicely blended with spices

  5. 5

    This will be a thick pulpy mass
    Add chilled water and ice cubes
    Add chopped mint leaves for garnish
    Serve chilled
