Aam panna is a delicious and tangy Indian summer drink which saves us from the heat of summers. Raw mango is boiled, peeled, pureed and flavoured with spices and mint leaves.

Ingredients

  1. 5-6Raw mangoes
  2. 1 cupSugar powder
  3. 1 teaspoonBlack salt
  4. 1/2 tspBlack pepper powder
  5. as neededFresh mint leaves
  6. 5 cupWater

Cooking Instructions

    Wash mangoes nicely.

  2. 2

    Boil water in a pressure cooker and cook mangoes for two whistles until mangoes are soft.

    Cut and open the mangoes.

    Using a spoon, scoop out the pulp from boiled mangoes.

  5. 5

    Discard the skin and let it cool down.

  6. 6

    Strain it in a strainer.

  7. 7

    Add salt and pepper, Sugar powder and mint leaves in it.

    Add this in to a blender and blend until smooth.

  9. 9

    Add chilled water in it. Mix well.

  10. 10

    It's ready. Serve chilled.
