I felt like eating a salad that didn't use sesame or olive oil. So I made a oil-free salad with kombu tea.

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 8Cherry tomatoes
  2. 1Cucumber
  3. 2/3 tspKombu tea
  4. 1 tspVinegar
  5. 1 tspMentsuyu or soy sauce
  6. 1 pinchSugar
  7. 1 tspGround sesame (white)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cut the cherry tomatoes in half.

  2. 2

    Use the back of a knife to strike the cucumbers so that they can absorb the flavor easily. Cut them into chunks about the same size as the cherry tomatoes.

  3. 3

    Combine all of the ingredients. Chill in the refrigerator and then serve.
