For Barbecues: Beef Steak

I made it for lunch at the office. I aimed for something that could be made with just a few ingredients that are inexpensive but tasty!
The most important thing is to cut the muscle fibers. The other important thing is to marinate the meat in oil.
And then just season lightly with Krazy Salt.
Before you put the meat in the frying pan, heat the pan until it's smoking lightly. This burns off any impurities in the pan and prevents the beef from getting any unnecessary burns. Recipe by Peni-da

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Take the beef out of the refrigerator and bring to room temperature.
- 2
Bash the meat with a meat tenderizer or a fork. Push the bashed meat back to its original shape. This cuts up the muscle fibers, so even thick steak becomes tender.
- 3
Salt and pepper both sides lightly (using Krazy Salt) and rub in lots of olive oil. When you salt meat it shrinks, so just marinate it for about 10 minutes.
- 4
Heat up a frying pan, and when it is smoking lightly add the beef fat and melt it. Add the steak and pan fry it. Once you put the steak in the frying pan, don't touch it.
- 5
Turn the steak over after 3 to 4 minutes. Turn the steak over again once the juice from it runs clear, and cook the other side once more.
- 6
Pour in olive oil infused with nuts and olives (optional). If you don't have this, just finish cooking the steak as is.
- 7
Transfer the cooked steak to a tray or something. This is the remaining juice in the frying pan. We'll make gravy with this.
- 8
Add sake or white wine to the juices and heat.
- 9
Bring it to a boil. When the alcohol has evaporated and the sauce is tasty.
- 10
The gravy is done! Pour the gravy on the steak to finish!
- 11
How to pan fry the steak: Fry on one side for 3 to 4 minutes, turn over and cook for 4 minutes. When the juices from the meat start to seep out from the surface, turn over and cook for another 1-2 minutes.

Beef Steak Beef Steak
I keep uploading really simple recipes, which is a little embarrassing, so I have decided not to call this a recipe.Although this isn't really a recipe, teaching people how to cook is also very important.Of course the colour of the meat is important, but cooking the meat through to the middle is what will draw out the best flavour.Japanese beef doesn't really get tough, so it's probably better to overcook than to undercook. Tender Beef Steak Tender Beef Steak
I heard that when preparing steaks, using baking powder makes the meat tender. Apparently grapeseed oil also makes the meat rather tender, but it's expensive.Don't use too much baking powder, or else it'll become bitter! It's important to coat the meat with vegetable oil. Flip the steaks once when you're cooking. Recipe by uuu cookpad.japan -

Tender Well-Done Beef Steak Tender Well-Done Beef Steak
I based this recipe on Okuen-sensei's Oil Marinade Chicken recipe. I just replaced the chicken breast with beef. I did have some breast meat but it was quite dried out and I just wondered if beef would taste similar. If I eat well-done steak in a restaurant it's hard to chew and I thought cheap meat would also end up that way but somehow I made it tender. If you use a meat that contains no oil such as Aussie beef, the beef will completely suck up an oil-based marinade and the dashi stock with it in about half a day. By dusting with flour, it provides the meat with a thin film that locks the juices and moisture within the meat. Recipe by toshiebaba cookpad.japan -
A Former Steak Chef's Recipe for Beef Steak A Former Steak Chef's Recipe for Beef Steak
I always cook steak this way! It's just like they do it at steak restaurants! Imported beef is tough and dry? No it's not! You're just not cooking it right! What's the ichibo (culotte)? It's a part of the round, and there's only about 2 kilo of it per cow. Let's just call it sirloin!I use an old worn out non-stick frying pan. Let the meat come to room temperature → cut the muscle fibers → salt and pepper →use a red hot frying pan → flambé the meat → rest the meat! That's it! If you want to grill a steak in a frying pan, this is the recipe for you. Wrap the steak in foil and let it rest to prevent the juices from running out! For 1 serving. Beef Steak in a Pan Beef Steak in a Pan
I wanted to eat tasty meat with the umami flavor intact. It works best with fillet, loin or sirloin. Thigh meat toughens, so I don't recommend it for steak. The key is to push the meat back to it's original size after beating.Adjust the cooking time depending on the thickness of the meat. Don't overcook the middle. For 1 serving. A Delicious Method to Prepare Cheap Beef Steak A Delicious Method to Prepare Cheap Beef Steak
I was trying to find a way to prepare cheap beef, so I spent my days experimenting. If you marinate the meat in yogurt, the odor will dissipate, but the flavor weakens. Marinating in grated fruit reduces the smell but imparts a strange taste. Since the cut of meat is lean, I thought of marinating it in oil, but soaking it in olive oil resulted in a funky smell. Vegetable oil was out of the question. What about corn oil? Through trial and error, I finally settled on this recipe. I wonder how much strangely seasoned meat I ate in the process.Even if you're using beef that has a lot of lean meat and little fat (like how Aussie beef tends to be), marinating it in grape seed oil gives it just the right tenderness to rival expensive, marbled beef. Add the oil first, then the red wine soy sauce; if you mix up the order, then the saltiness of the red wine soy sauce will overpower the meat and make it tough, so be careful. Adjust the quantity of red wine and soy sauce to your preference. Recipe by Mihono kitchen cookpad.japan
