Revised Edition; Macrobiotic Carrot Pound Cake
I wanted to make an even more delicious pound cake! So I challenged myself with that goal in mind. I used less oil this time than last time. I added in rice syrup after seeing it featured on Macrobiotic Papa's blog, which I often read.Adding in rice syrup is what makes this rich. The dough is a bit difficult to handle, though, so I suppose that is that downside to this.Use more rice syrup if you don't like raisins and don't feel like adding a lot of them in. Make it as sweet as you'd like with maple syrup or honey if you don't have rice syrup. Recipe by Saikomame

Milk Pudding with Maple Syrup
I really got into the maple syrup-flavored milk pudding of a certain brand. I tried various combinations, and this is my favorite. I have this as a snack over several days.Even though the amounts of cornstarch and kanten are minimal, use a digital scale to measure (even just the slightest variation will change the final product). Use regular milk, not low-fat. Recipe by Yukiline

Impossible Pie
This desert is called 'impossible' cos, while a runny mixture is poured into the cake pan, it is a 3-layered-pie that emerges from the oven. The bottom layer is pastry - like cos the flour and butter sink in the bottom; centre layer is like custard filling; top is slightly browned and crusty because the coconut floats to the top during baking.

Chocolate Sponge Cake (Sokolatopita)
Chocolate mmmmhhh a favorite sweet that most just love. I haven’t made this Chocolate Sponge cake in a while, and I decided to make it last night. I had all the ingredients and it only took about 35 minutes. Just mixed, baked and it was ready! When the cake finally cooled off, it was time to start pouring the homemade chocolate syrup on top, I have to admit just looking at it had me drooling and I’m not even a chocolate lover…Me like white Chocolate. 🙂Every dish or dessert I make I have to taste, this cake has me second guessing about not liking chocolate!!! 🙂 I added Cognac into the batter just to give it a bit of twist 🙂If you haven’t had Chocolate Sponge Cake try this recipe you’ll love it!!
