Scallop Soup with Rice Scallop Soup with Rice
A friend of me sent me some dried scallops, and I wanted to turn them into something tasty. My city is getting colder at night (for our standard, that is. I live in the biggest archipelago in the world) so I wanted to make something warm. This dish is very simple and tasty. Adjust the salt to your liking. You might want to add more, but I think a pinch is enough. Angela Mertoyono -
Stir Fried New Potatoes and Sugar Snap Peas Flavored with Soup Stock Stir Fried New Potatoes and Sugar Snap Peas Flavored with Soup Stock
I won a draw to become a recipe tester for Ajinomoto soup stock.Cover with plastic wrap when microwaving. New potatoes can be eaten with the skins on. You can cook them whole (until a bamboo skewer goes through one easily) then cut them. If you cut them before cooking them, the skins will come off. Let them cool down a bit before cutting. Don't burn yourself. (I used a 500 W microwave.) Recipe by Shampoo hat cookpad.japan -

Instant Pot Vegan Split Pea Soup Instant Pot Vegan Split Pea Soup
Getting my kids to eat their veggies can be really challenging and time is usually at a premium when it comes to meal prep. The Instant Pot has been absolutely invaluable to my family for creating simple tasty meals fast. Amazingly my kids love this pea soup recipe that I put together. I’ve gone pretty heavy on the split peas which means this soup is more of a green mash which I am pretty sure is why they love it. Anyhow, I’m not going to question it; just going to count it as a dad win. Chris Jordan -
Split Pea Soup Split Pea Soup
So... we ate this Christmas ham and there was a lot of meat leftover. I couldn’t bare to watch it get thrown away so I took it home. Could have just made some ham and cheese sandwiches or ham and potato salad but there was a bag of split peas screaming to be cooked. Now... feel free to substitute any of the vegetables... they’re basically going to be disintegrated anyway. I used what I had on hand. Karl
