The longer you let them sit the better the flavor will be so don’t rush it. Remove the salmon pieces and pat the off with a paper towel. You want to remove most of the miso marinade before cooking.
- 5
Now turn on the Cookpad or burner to medium and warm up your pan. If you don’t remove the miso from the fish the sugars will cause the fish to burn so make sure to pat them down well.
- 6
Cook salmon about 3 minutes on each side until done. Now serve with greens and rice. Arigato from The Food Dude.

Miso and ginger salmon with cheesy mash Miso and ginger salmon with cheesy mash
This is a super quick recipe for a tasty evening meal. Miso is great as a seasoning for marinades and sauces - I prefer white as it has a milder sweeter taste. I didn't have time to leave it marinating, but added some ginger and lemon and it was very tasty. I had some truffle cheese in the fridge so used that for the mash, but blue cheese would also work fine. If I'd had time I would have added sautéed onions to the mash, but this was a real rush job (as you might have gathered ;-) ). Becky
