Just added twist of pineapple and lemon zest but it taste was marvelous

I seem to like experimenting with anything that I find in the kitchen. My mom had just brought a papaya and I really wanted something cold since it was a hot day. So I decided to do the same as I had done with banana ice cream but since papaya is bitter, I decided to use condensed milk to even it out. Came out Quite successful to me :)

I wanted to make my lemon poppyseed loaf, hubby wanted me to make it into cookies... adjusted recipe to fit a basic sugar cookie recipe, add lemon and poppyseed... PERFECT!!!!

The papaya tree growing in our yard finally had some fruit, so we decided to use it in a dish together with other earthly ingredients available.

These will never go missing on a Brazilian party or get together. Deliciousss. I ran out of sugar and lemon zest so I had to use the sprinkles to garnish. Enjoy them!

Hello everyone!!! Ravani/Revani, depending on which part of Greece you come from…..I personally think is a version of the Sponge Cake with a unique twist of the added syrup. I have always made this cake and have tweaked it in my own little way, by adding Walnuts in the mixture and not only on top. It gives the Lemon Zest (which to be honest I prefer using than the Orange Zest) taste of the cake a nice twist. 🙂Ok, well this was the only cake that I personally never looked at with a strange face…like I did when they offered me the Fruit Spoon Dessert. 🙂

I had this in Okinawa and became addicted! When papaya are cheap, I make this dish! It's also great for bentos!Whenever I make this at home, my husband very happily eats it.Papaya fruit is good too, but please also appreciate this vegetable type papaya.Since this is stir-fried and then simmered, the ingredients become tender, but if you want to keep the crunchy texture of the papaya, you don't need to simmer it. Just add some dashi granules when stir-frying.Adding the whole can of tuna as-is creates a rich flavor, but you can adjust the amount of soy sauce and other ingredients if you want. I Had a whole lot of summer fruit in the fridge and decided to throw this together so that they wouldn't be wasted. We had a family barbecue and the bowl had been licked clean.
