Ingredients

1 hour
Serves 4 servings
  1. 3large potatoes
  2. 2 ouncescheese (about 60 grams)
  3. 2 tablespoonsmilk (about 30 grams)
  4. 1 1/2 tablespoonsbutter (about 20 grams)
  5. 1 tablespoonumami seasoning
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions

1 hour
  1. 1

Peel and dice the potatoes. The smaller you cut them, the less time they need to steam. I cut mine into about 3/4 inch cubes. Add the milk, then place the prepared potatoes in a steamer with 3/4 cup of water (about 200 ml) in the outer pot. Steam until the cooker switches off (about 15-20 minutes).

  2. 2

While hot, add the butter, cut into about 3/4 inch pieces, and a tablespoon of umami seasoning. Mash with a fork and mix well, then season with salt and pepper to taste (you can eat it like this 😋).

  3. 3

For a baked version, cover the mashed potatoes with cheese and bake until golden. I use a small oven, and it takes about 20 minutes. Enjoy 😋😋😋
