Cooking Instructions
- 1
Wash the mackerel fish very well, cut into chunks and season with salt, black pepper, ginger mix.
Place a sauce pan on fire, just saute the fish lightly in very little oil....once it starts to firm up,, move to the side of the pan, add the oil, onions garlic and ginger and stir everything very well... add the pepper mix paste and stir
- 2
Pour in some water (.the amount depends on the fish really) I added about 1 ½ cup of water, this will cook the fish, add salt, add season cubes add different spices.
Allow to boil very well, next add the corn flour, stir, add the vegetables and peppers.
Allow to simmer on low heat for about 4 mins and viola the Sauce is ready.I enjoyed mine with some flat bread and later had the rest with some baked sweet potatoes.
Really,it was so good..😉👌

Easy Horse Mackerel Escabeche In Nanban Sauce Easy Horse Mackerel Escabeche In Nanban Sauce
My husband loves this dish. It takes time and a little effort to make this, but it's delicious. This is my own way so there might be faults. My husband finishes this really quickly.Do not overcook the fish, otherwise the flesh will toughen. After marinating for more than one day the fish absorbs the sauce well.It is better to remove the bones around the belly fin. They are tough and painful to eat. Recipe by Picchiri cookpad.japan -

I'm really into salt-simmered fish. So easy, and you can taste the fish properly.I added a little thickener to the sauce this time to make it rather elegant...Always add the fish to boiling liquid. It won't be fishy! For 4 servings. Recipe by santababy cookpad.japan -
Grilled chopped fish with Fish Sauce Grilled chopped fish with Fish Sauce
I'm not sure what the English word for this dish is, but in Vietnamese it's "Chả cá chiên nước mắm". Hope you guys enjoy the recipe I put up.Because this dish has fish sauce, it will be relatively salty, with a little bit of chili, to soften the above flavors, eating with cucumber is a very good choice./ Vì món này có nước mắm nên sẽ tương đối mặn, còn có thêm chút ớt, để làm dịu các vị trên, ăn kèm với dưa leo là một lựa chọn rất ổn.Note: Don't let the garlic get too yellow before you put the fish in, it will burn easily like me./Lưu ý: Đừng để tỏi vàng quá rồi mới cho cá vào, sẽ dễ bị cháy như me. Louisiana hot sauce Louisiana hot sauce
I adapted this from an old hot sauce recipe. And made different variations over time. Each batch turns out great. If you want less vinegar taste, use rice or cider vinegar. I suggest using at least half white vinegar regardless... But that's due to the creole in me :-)you can substitute the Tabasco peppers with any pepper of your choice. Just adjust for the heat!Make sure you make this in a well ventilated area, as the fumes can be irritating. Open a window and grab a fan if needed. nightychef -

Super Easy Fish Sauce Wings Super Easy Fish Sauce Wings
These turned out very good. I was afraid they would have a heavy fish sauce taste, I marinated them for 3 hours. I couldn't be more wrong. They were crisp outside, tender inside, cooked through. Nice flavor that wasn't overpowering at all.I'm not a fan of frying, but these were so easy, and good, they will be on the menu more often. There seems to be a lot of steps, but I wanted everyone to see in reality how easy it is, and what to expect. So don't let the number of steps scare you off. Fo Fa
