Ingredients

  1. 250 ground spinach
  2. 250 gsharp spinach
  3. 40 gdry anchovies
  4. 40 gold garlic
  5. 1000 mlhot boiling water
  6. 1 teaspoonwhite pepper powder
  7. 1 teaspoonMSG
  8. 3 tablespoonslight soya sauce
  9. 4 tablespoonscooking oil

Cooking Instructions

    Rinse the spinach with clean water.

    Pluck the leaves for use. Stalk is not needed for soup version unless for stir fry recipe.

    Rinse the dry anchovies. Remove moisture with kitchen tissue.

    Peel and chop garlic finely.

  5. 5

    Heat frying pan with medium heat. Add cooking oil. Fry the anchovies till aromatic.

    Then add the chop garlic and fry till aromatic.

    Add the spinach leaves.

    Add hot water to cover the leaves. Add white pepper powder, light soya sauce and MSG. Leave it to boil for 2 minutes.

    Ready to serve.

Love to cook and experiment with new cooking methods in addition to traditional stir fry recipes. Living in Singapore, a fantastic place to eat and experience (almost) every kind of cuisine in the world.
