Thinly sliced your cabbage or shred(your choice),rinse and set aside in a strainer.same for the other ingredients but in a separate bowl each.

Once the oil is heated, add in your white onion and allow to saute or until it's light brown, add in your grated tomatoes and pepper.(keep stirring to avoid burning) for 2-3minutes.
- 4
After 2min or so, stir in your shredded smoked mackerel fish, keep stirring then add your spices to taste.stir for less than a minute or until it's well incorporated with the sauce.
- 5
At this point, stirred in your cabbage, mix properly but not to much to avoid the mackerel being mushy.add 2tbspn of water and cover to simmer for a minute.

Mackerel with White Wine & Currant Sauce Mackerel with White Wine & Currant Sauce
I found the first currants of the season at an open-air market. So, I made this dish based on a recipe I found on a website called "Serious Eats".If the water in which you soak the currants is too hot, it will damage the currants. But if it's not warm enough, the flavor of the currants won't infuse, so be sure to use warm water. I used pink currants for the dish in the photo, but red currants would be pretty as well. Broccoli with Silken Tofu Sauce Broccoli with Silken Tofu Sauce
I like to try various delicious ways of eating broccoli when it's in season. The sauce is on the salty side. The broccoli tastes best if you quickly blanch it so that it's still firm. It's very satisfying, but if you want to make it richer, you can lightly saute the broccoli and mix crab sticks or finely shredded shrimp into the sauce. Recipe by Hoink cookpad.japan -
Hipon Pinakbet or Steamed Shrimps w vegetables in Shrimp paste Sauce Hipon Pinakbet or Steamed Shrimps w vegetables in Shrimp paste Sauce
It’s Ash Wednesday today which is a meatless day for us today, instead of pork or other meat I used Shrimp. Pinakbet is an Ilocano dish, which I never like eating and never cooked because I’m not a fan of bitter gourd or Ampalaya Pero when I learned how to cook this especially it is one of my wife’s favorites I try cooking often although I’m still not a fan of ampalaya or shrimp paste but now I love eating it and cooking it because of the other vegetables. what I did was as the vegetables were simmering I put the chilli peppers parallel to each other then put the shrimps on top with the head and tails stretched out and steamed. So now the flavour of the shrimps is part of the sauce. Christian Allarde -

This is a recipe that I found on @northernhomestead.com & tweaked to my own family's tastes. 😏😉 We grew way too many tomatoes in our garden this year & I didnt want them to go to waste. 🙏❤ Below I listed a section of My personal add-ins but these are not required.👌 You can season this sauce however you prefer! 👍 We had spaghetti dinner with this & the next night I made homemade pizzas with it. I froze gallon ziplocs & canned some for gifting & storage as well! 👏😎👏 Chef Mommy Nessa -

Fogo de Avo (Avocado Hot Sauce) Fogo de Avo (Avocado Hot Sauce)
I'm on a big hot sauce kick trying to find my "Main 4" for my Boca de Fogo line of hot sauces and salsas. This one will DEFINITELY make the cut! Being from SoCal, avocado is something that is always on hand in my produce basket and is a staple in just about every Mexican dish and snack I make. This "is a medium-hot" hot sauce so it should be management for most. Enjoy it on meats like chicken or steak or your favorite street taco! Boca de Fogo -
