Ingredients

  1. 3 cupsrice
  2. 4-6 cupswater
  3. 6Maggi star
  4. Turmeric or curry
  5. Oil
  6. Salt-pinch
  7. 1/2 cupPeas
  8. 1/2 cupCarrot
  9. 3Scotch bonnet
  10. 1big onion sliced
  11. For the grilled chicken
  12. 1whole chicken or parts
  13. Pepper
  14. 5Maggi
  15. Little kuli kuli
  16. 1-2 tablespoonsoil
  17. 1 teaspoonginger
  18. 1/2 teaspoongarlic
  19. Little Black pepper and coriander

Cooking Instructions

    Wash your rice and drain

  2. 2

    Pour your oil into a pot and put on fire, then pour the rice, add 1/2 tsp turmeric and fry until a bit golden

  3. 3

    Drain using a colander

  4. 4

    On a medium heat, fry sliced onions and scotch bonnet, add water then allow to boil

  5. 5

    Pour in your rice,add curry add the peas and let it cook

  6. 6

    When done halfway add the carrot and let it cook to your taste

  7. 7

    Meanwhile you wash and pat dry your chicken with a towel or paper towel

  8. 8

    Mix oil, pepper, ginger, garlic, Maggi, kuli kuli, black pepper n coriander, you can add Spices of choice

  9. 9

    Cover with a foil n cook in an oven for an hour or until done
