Ingredients

  1. 500 gmspinach
  2. 200 gmpaneer(cottage cheese)
  3. as per requirementOil
  4. 1onion
  5. 2tomatoes
  6. 1 tspginger garlic paste
  7. as per tasteSalt
  8. 1 tspturmeric powder
  9. 1 tspred chilli powder
  10. 2-3green chillies
  11. 1/2 cupchopped coriander leaves
  12. 1 tspgaram masala powder
  13. 1/2 tspkasuri methi(dried fenugreek leaves)
  14. 1 tspsugar
  15. 1 tbspbutter
  16. 1 tbspfresh cream

Cooking Instructions

    First clean, wash and cut spinach

  2. 2

    Boil for 2min by adding 1cup water water,salt and sugar

  3. 3

    Make spinach paste(or puree)

  4. 4

    Boil tomatoes

  5. 5

    Remove skin and make puree

  6. 6

    Now heat oil and butter together in a pan or kadhai

  7. 7

    Add onion puree

  8. 8

    Saute till light pink in color

  9. 9

    Add ginger garlic paste then add green chillies and coriander paste

  10. 10

    Saute for 1min till raw smell goes

  11. 11

    Now add all dry spices

  12. 12

    Mix it well

    Add tomato puree

    Cook for 2min till oil Starts releasing

  15. 15

    Add spinach puree

  16. 16

    Once it starts boiling,add paneer pieces

  17. 17

    Again cook for 3-4min

  18. 18

    Add fresh cream

  19. 19

    Palak paneer gravy is ready to serve
