Ingredients

20 mnts
5 pieces
  1. 1/2 cupmilk
  2. 1 cupmilk powder
  3. 1 big spoon classified butter (desi ghee)
  4. 3 tbsppowder sugar
  5. Somechopped almonds and pistachio
  6. 1 tbspdessicated coconut
  7. Some saffron (kesar)leaves
  8. 2 tbspwarm milk
  9. 1/2 tbspElaichi powder

Cooking Instructions

    Take a pan. Add milk. Put it on medium flame.

    Then add classified butter and milk powder

  3. 3

    Stir continously and cook it till it leaves edges of pan.

    Then add chopped almonds and pistachio. Mix it properly

  5. 5

    Then add sugar and desiccated coconut and mix well.

  6. 6

    Then take a bowl add some warm milk add some saffron leaves in it and mix properly.

    Stir continously and cook till it leaves the pan.

    Then remove the mixture to a plate. Let it cool down

  9. 9

    After minutes grease your palm and make lemon size balls

  10. 10

    Put these balls in greased modak mould and press gently.

    Now demould modak and place it in a plate.

  12. 12

    Garnish with chopped almonds and pistachio. Here yours Modak bhog is ready to serve to Lord Ganesha.
