Ingredients

1 hr
4 persons
  1. 7 pcsPomfret fish (whole)
  2. 5-6garlic cloves
  3. 1/4 tspCarom seeds (Ajwain)
  4. 1-1.5 tbsBaisan
  5. 3 tbsvinegar
  6. 1 tspchili powder
  7. 1 tspsalt
  8. Oil for frying

Cooking Instructions

1 hr
  1. 1

Wash fish first properly. I am using whole fish but you also can try this masala with fish pieces. I took Garlic cloves and put in pestle and mortar.

  2. 2

Put some Carom seeds, chili powder and salt.

  3. 3

Pond it with mortar. Then add baisan and pour vinegar.

  4. 4

Mix it with spoon or with your hand. I prefer with hands so I can rub it easily on fish too. Rub all over and leave it.

  5. 5

Atleast marinate for half an hour. Then shallow fry. Again I prefer shallow fry because dee fry needs too much oil which ends up in garbage bin. So I always try to use shallow fry method. Flip to another side.

  6. 6

Once both sides looks crispy and golden brown. Dish out. Enjoy with your favourite curry or daal rice.
