Enjoy this Classic Doodh Patti chai or Karak chai when you need a comforting yet strong cup of Doodh patti tea! It is a strong tea (hence Karak Chai), flavored with a bit of cardamom and as much sugar and milk and you prefer!

Ingredients

  1. 1 Mug fresh milk
  2. 1 podgreen cardamom
  3. 1 tspn tea leaves or two tea bags
  4. 1 tspn sugar

Cooking Instructions

    In a pot, add milk, green cardamom pods (crush to open), along with the tea leaves or tea bags.

    Cook on low to medium heat depending on how strong you prefer your tea (3-4 minutes) once it is the desired color.

    Add the sugar. Adjust the sugar depending on your preference.

  4. 4

    Pour into the cup and enjoy with snacks.
