2 poundsground hamburger

8 cupstomatoes
1/2 cuprice
4 cupsbeef broth
2 cupswater optional
8 teaspoonssalt
1/2 teaspoonbasil
1/2 teaspoonthyme

Cook ground beef and onion together until all of the pink has disappeared.

Drain off fat.

Add all the remaining ingredients and simmer 1 hour.
