Coconut Mai Tai Twist Coconut Mai Tai Twist
I have never liked sour things or the taste of alcohol, and the mai tai lemon kind was too sour for me, so I experimented and found one I can tolerate. I personally think that it needs something else but I can't figure it out qtmonki01 -
Sweetly Simmered Apples Sweetly Simmered Apples
I make this a lot during apple season. I use it for cake, for apple pie, in bread or on sweet pizza, serve it with ice cream... this sweet simmered apple is so versatile. The cinnamon and rum really make it taste great!Don't put the sugar in at the start. Draw out the moisture from the apple first, and cook it through slowly - that's the key! Once the rum and cinnamon are added the flavor really improves. If you don't like rum or cinnamon, this is also delicious with vanilla essence and a little butter! Try some variations! Cheesecake With Apples Cheesecake With Apples
I thought this up to rescue a wrinkled apple and some cream cheese that was nearing its best by date that I had in my kitchen!I experimented with the formula several times after that until I got to this ratio. If you let the cake sit overnight, the flavors will blend together and become even more delicious. It's fine even without the base. The rum is essential, but you can replace it if lemon juice if you prefer. Adjust the sweetness to suit your taste as well! Recipe by Ahho cookpad.japan -

Apple Compote In the Microwave Apple Compote In the Microwave
I wanted to easily make the type of apple from tarts or apple pies, so I made this in the microwave. These are so tasty, it's great to have just by itself as well.If you want to make the best of the rum, add it right before cooling the apples. If you're worried about the alcohol, add it in Step 2. The cooking time should differ depending on the type and condition of the apples. Adjust the time while keeping an eye on the apples. For 1-2 servings. Recipe by teddynancy cookpad.japan -
