Burabisko has always been my favorite traditional dish and the good thing about it is that it can be served with different types of soup. Here's one soup that will never disappoint you.

Burabisko has always been my favorite traditional dish and the good thing about it is that it can be served with different types of soup. Here's one soup that will never disappoint you.
Cooking Instructions

For burabisko
In a pot, add a little amount of oil. Then add your rice grit and stir for 2-3 minutes then hot water the same level with the rice and allow to cook until it is soft. Make sure to cover the pot with foil paper to trap the steam. Cook on low heat.

For Cabbage sauce
Add moderate oil to your pan, add your cooked beef and stir fry.

Then add sliced onion, ginger &garlic paste and sauté

Add grated scotch bonnet and red bell pepper stir then put in your seasoning, spices and a little amount of water.

Add carrot, carrot & green bell pepper and cover for 3 minutes

I really enjoyed their soup and salad bar and my favorite soup was their cabbage beef which I never saw in a can in the grocery store so I came up with my own recipe.This recipe tastes even better after it's been refrigerated over night. I put a few clean jars of this soup in the refrigerator while it's hot and store it for up to a week after making.You can use less broth if you want lower sodium but make sure you add water in place of it.Billy
