Cauliflower korma

In a pan heat enough water. Add little salt and turmeric powder. When it comes to boil add cauliflower florets and switch off the flame. Keep into for 4-5 minutes. Then strain water from it. Keep aside.

Soak cashew nuts and poppy seeds in warm water for 10-15 minutes. Then grind along with coconut in mixer grinder and make smooth paste.

In a pan heat oil. Add cumin seeds. Add cloves, cinnamon stick, bay leaf and green cardamom. When cumin seeds start sputtering Add curry leaves and slit green chilies. Add crushed garlic and chopped onion. Saute until onion turns translucent.

Add chopped tomato and saute until tomato softens. Add cauliflower florets and some water. Add salt, cover with lid and cook for 3-4 minutes.

Add red chili powder, dhania jeera powder and garam masala powder. Mix well. Add whisked curd and green peas. Give it a good mix. Add little more water and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Finally add chopped coriander leaves and mix well. Delicious cauliflower korma is ready to serve. Serve with plain rice or roti or paratha.
