Apple Compote In the Microwave

I wanted to easily make the type of apple from tarts or apple pies, so I made this in the microwave. These are so tasty, it's great to have just by itself as well.

If you want to make the best of the rum, add it right before cooling the apples. If you're worried about the alcohol, add it in Step 2. The cooking time should differ depending on the type and condition of the apples. Adjust the time while keeping an eye on the apples. For 1-2 servings. Recipe by teddynancy
