Nothing worse than ordering Hot and Sour Soup at a restaurant and get it and it is either missing the spicy or missing the sour! So I worked on and came up with my own Hot & Sour Soup perfect each time.

The Hubby loves Chicken Cordon Bleu but I was sick of making him the same old same old so I looked for something similar came across this and it came out great! It was lovedddd by all! Hope the same 4 u n your family!! :)

It was inspired by my unwell digestive system couple days ago. And here is a healthy soup without any chili, pepper, and of course MSG free. Why am I not using these flavors? Honestly it's hard for me to not consuming the spicy food but for a reason I have to avoid it. those ingridients are directly stimulate your stomach to produce more HCL and so forth which can iritate your digestine. And absolutely we all know MSG is one of carsinogenic material, right? Minimize it as you can. Happy tryin!

I like this recipe because my kids love it they use to eat it with jam but I prefer eating with the soup

I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out but I gave it a shot and grabbed all the veggies out of my fridge, too lazy to go out in the cold in NYC and came up with this soup. Surprisingly it is quite good, and I am usually not a big fan of vegetable soups! I recommend this recipe :)

I decided to try something new and ordered the lemon chicken from a Chineese restaurant, it was really good. I really like soup and was looking up lemon chicken soup recipes, they all involved a croc-pot. I am not a big croc-pot user, so I decided to try to come up with something inspired from the recipe i saw online. I saute the vegetables before putting in soup to save time. It came out very good. I also like to cook chicken myself & not use rotisserie chicken from the store in soup.

Hey there!!! How is everyone doing? I am fine having fun with my friend this week, sightseeing and just catching up on things. Tammy a couple of days ago decided that she was going to cook a Yogurt Soup Recipe from her native country Georgia (not the US), I was quite surprised to hear that a Yogurt Soup recipe even existed. 🙂 When she finished making the soup it was time to taste it. I was curious…very curious, I took the first sip and guess what!!! it was a delicious surprise, it reminded of the Greek Egg Sauce that we use in our Greek Chicken Soup. 🙂At first when she mentioned that she was going to be cooking Yogurt Soup I was a bit hesitant, but then I thought it would be a new taste, it has Yogurt in it so I have to give it a try. It is such a light soup and from what she told me this is a great option if you are on a diet. This is why I love cooking and baking, you learn about so many beautiful recipes that exist in other cultures, and it is always a wonderful surprise. 🙂Today, is her last day before she heads back home tomorrow, I have to admit I am sad and happy at the same time, it was great having her here and we had a fantastic time together visiting Museums, Amsterdam, and many other places. 🙂

It was a beautiful sunny day here yesterday, quite chilly with the temperature not going above 7 degrees.. Cold right! 🙂 I took Charlie for his morning walk to the park and was so fascinated with the colored leaves on the trees, just absolutely stunning.I wanted to take photos to post them, but I didn’t have my camera with me so I tried to take photos with my phone. Of course that didn’t work out because my phone is pre-historic and just freezes up every time I want to use it, so annoying!Our walk was fun, charlie had a great time running around and just enjoying the sun and playing with the other doggies…;) I took in all those beautiful colors and fresh air and started heading back home to make this wonderful soup which has a little of this and a little of that in it. 🙂

Ate it at a Chinese restaurant. It's actually pickled cabbage soup. But I had no cabbage. At the restaurant it was a really hot soup with a huge flakey sole. Not a good picture. Sole is white and hiding under the greens.

I was feeling lazy one night and started to use my brand new slow cooker. This is the test run. Hope you all benefit from it.

I was missing home and since it's fall I was feeling like some sort of green chile stew. However, I'm not a huge fan of the typical group beef and potato combo that is green chile stew, so my mom inspired me to make this instead!
