Microwaved Strawberry Bread Pudding

I combined seasonal strawberries with bread pudding using Chojuku bread that has a tender flavor and a moist texture. There won't be many dirty dishes if you use a silicon steamer, and it's also very easy to make for you to enjoy sweetened buns on the busiest mornings.

It rises when microwaved, but it won't spill if measured correctly. You can make an easy dessert if you change the measurements to 50 ml milk, 50 ml fresh cream, and 2 tablespoons brown sugar. For serving 1, 1 silicon steamer (400 ml) worth. Recipe by vegeful

Chop the bread into bite-sizes. Remove the stems from the strawberries and gently wipe any dirt using kitchen paper. Chop into half lengthwise.

Crack an egg into a silicon steamer. Add sugar and mix well using chopsticks. Add milk and liquor, then mix well.

Soak the bread in the liquid. Align the strawberries and cover with a lid. Microwave for 3 minutes at 500W. Remove the lid and microwave for another minute to finish.

  4. 4

It's delightful when hot and also after it has cooled. Serve with powdered sugar, honey, or maple syrup if you wish.

  5. 5

I used Pasco's Chojuku Bread. It has a simple yet tender flavor that goes well with all sorts of ingredients.

  6. 6

I used Pasco's 420 ml silicon steamer. The size is just right to serve 1 person. It's very convenient as it can be folded.
