Cooking Instructions

Mix flour with water to get a medium consistency,not too thick,not too light, set aside

Now, pour 3/4Cup of water to a big pot,add other ingredients, stir,bring to a boil,watch it so milk does not spill over

Once it boils, remove from heat,this is to avoid lumps,add flour mixture, stir well

Set flame on low, return pot,stir continuously,till thick,you may loosen it up,if you want it lighter by adding lil more water, continue the stir,taste to adjust for proper doneness before you remove from heat finally

This dessert is my favorite, my mother used to make this for me all the time growing up and she still does sometimes. The reason why this is my favorite is because Milk is involved and not Chocolate. Sorry, chocolate lovers….Rizogalo which is pronounced (Ri-zo-ga-lo) 🙂 is a thick , creamy and healthy dessert, that can be eaten anytime of the day. It is made rather quickly, but just note that much stirring is involved to get that creamy base. The rice is the major factor, others choose to use long grain rice, but I prefer the shorter version it all depends on what kind of rice you like to eat. Simple dessert, with a great taste.
