Make this delicious matar tomato dish before the winter is gone!! With few ingredients, easy to make, tastes great with rice/paratha. It’s a Satvik preparation, without garlic and onions.

Heat oil, crackle panch phoron, red chilli, followed by curry leaves and grated ginger. If you prefer paste, you can replace grated ginger by ginger paste.

Add the peas, salt, turmeric and chilli powder. Let peas get cooked in low flame, for 10 minutes or it’s until half-done. Now mix the chopped tomatoes and let cook until done.

Switch off the flame, garnish with generous amount of coriander leaves.

Tasty chutney is ready to be served as a side, with parathas or rice.
