Ingredients

  1. 500 gsirloin
  2. 8small potatoes
  3. Milk
  4. 80 gcheddar cheese
  5. Cooking cream
  6. 5 gPowdered Beef stock (mixed with water)
  7. Salt
  8. Pepper
  9. Steak rub of choice
  10. Rosemary
  11. 3 tbspMinced Garlic
  12. Any Neutral oil
  13. 7 tbspButter

Cooking Instructions

    Prep the steak and season it with the steak rub, salt, and pepper.

    Sear the steak to your preferred doneness.

    Add the aromatics and butter to the pan and baste the steak.

  4. 4

    Rest the steak and slice it.

    For the sauce, use the fond from searing the steak and pour the beef broth in. Add the aromatics until fragrant

    Add cooking cream to your desired thickness, season to taste and set aside the sauce

  7. 7

    For the mashed potatoes, start by peeling and dicing the potatoes into quarters

  8. 8

    Boil the potatoes until fork tender, drain and mash with butter and grate the cheese in. Then season to taste

    Your steak with pan sauce and mashed potatoes are ready!
