Easy to make! Just mix and bake for these rich, dense chocolate brownies. They are perfect for Valentine's Day at work or school because they are easy to transport at room temperature.

Recipe Background
I wanted a brownie that wouldn't crumble or spoil easily at room temperature, unlike fresh chocolates. This indulgent recipe was created for Valentine's Day! The measurements are designed to use up half of a standard 200g package of butter or cake margarine.

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Combine the broken chocolate and butter in a microwave-safe bowl, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 1 minute and 30 seconds to melt. You can also use a double boiler.

Once the chocolate is melted by the heat of the butter, add the eggs and sugar, and mix well with a whisk.

  3. 3

Finally, sift in the all-purpose flour and gently fold with a spatula. Add your choice of toppings like nuts or dried fruits at this stage.

  4. 4

Spread the mixture evenly into a greased pan using a spatula. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 20-25 minutes.

  5. 5

Once baked, let it cool slightly, remove from the pan, and cut into your desired sizes once completely cooled.

  6. 6

Wrap them up with items from a dollar store for a perfect gift. The wax paper used is from Daiso.
