Ingredients

40 minutes
2 servings
  1. 1 cupboiled lauki pcs
  2. 2 cupchopped red amaranth
  3. 3 tbspmustard oil
  4. 1/2 tspkalonji seeds
  5. 3dry red chilli halved
  6. 1 tspminced garlic
  7. 1/2 tspgrated ginger
  8. 1/2 cupchopped onion
  9. 1/2 tsphaldi powder
  10. 1 tspdhania powder
  11. 1 tspsalt

Cooking Instructions

40 minutes
  1. 1

    Wash red amaranth, keep aside. Keep aside lauki too.

  2. 2

    Take a wok, add oil, heat it, in goes kalonji seeds, let it splutter.

  3. 3

    Add in dry red chilli, garlic & ginger, saute it until light brown. In goes onion, stir fry it until light brown.

  4. 4

    Now add haldi powder, stir it. In goes red amaranth & salt, stir fry it for a minute

  5. 5

    Cook it covered on low flame for 2 minutes, red amaranth will release water.

  6. 6

    Open the lid, add lauki, increase the flame, mix it well. Add dhania powder, stir fry it until a lil dry.

  7. 7

    Turn off the flame, cover it with the lid for a minute. Take out in a serving bowl, garnish it with a dhania sprig...
