Ingredients

8-10 minutes
1-2 servings
  1. 1 cupskinned gram lentils
  2. 1/4 tspred chilli powder
  3. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  4. As neededsalt
  5. 1/4 tspcumin/mustard seeds
  6. 1 tspghee
  7. Tempering
  8. 1-2dry red chilies
  9. 1 dashred chilli powder
  10. 1 pinchhing or few garlic flakes as per choice

Cooking Instructions

8-10 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat the ghee in a pressure cooker. Add cumin/ mustard seeds. As it crackles add washed dal. Roast it for a few minutes.

    Add water and all the spices.

  3. 3

    Pressure cook till it becomes soft and thick.

  4. 4

    Add tempering prepared by the above listed ingredients.

  5. 5

    It's ready. Serve it with rice/fulka or you can have as it is as it is lightly spiced and comfrting.
