Ingredients

2-4 ppl
  1. 4big beets
  2. 6-8 cubessugar
  3. 10cloves
  4. 1/4-1/2 cvinegar white
  5. 1/4 tspfenugreek (opt)
  6. 1 pinchdill seeds (opt)
  7. 1 pinchred pepper flakes (optional)

Cooking Instructions

    Peel and cut beets into slices

  2. 2

    Cover with water and cook about 5 minutes on high and cover with lid.

  3. 3

    Turn down to low and simmer about 45 mins or until tender. Add sugar, cloves and fenugreek, dill, red peppers flakes.

    Turn off and add vinegar. After cooking I like to add sliced onions. Put in jars to refrigerate and when cold enjoy !
