Pfannekuchen (German Pancakes) with Homemade Apple Sauce Pfannekuchen (German Pancakes) with Homemade Apple Sauce
Pfannekuchen is German for "pancake" but they're really different than the fluffy American-style ones. They're basically big, thin crepes and are sooo delicious! I used to top mine with apple sauce and plenty of powdered sugar. In case you can't buy apple sauce or want to make your own, I included how do make it here. Besides apple sauce, some people eat these with fruit, jam, or nutella too ;) Felice -

Mini Dutch Baby Pancakes Mini Dutch Baby Pancakes
I've been wanting to attempt to make a Dutch baby (also known as a German pancake) for awhile now...but they are traditionally made in a cast iron skillet and I don't have one. But I came across this recipe on Pinterest and had to try it out! Traditionally they are served dusted with confectioners sugar, but you can also serve with maple syrup, Nutella, fresh fruit or a fruit compote. You can also make up the batter the night before, then place in a bowl, cover tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight, to make it even easier on yourself in the morning. Scallion Pancakes Scallion Pancakes
My 100th recipe! 🥳 Scallion pancakes are one of our favorite dim sum dishes, and I really wanted to learn how to make them at home. They are a bit of work, but my family and I really enjoyed these! I feel like I still need to perfect my cooking technique to get really flaky layers, but that’s just an excuse to make more pancakes! 😋 #GlobalApron Week 3 Spring Onions#Chinese #Appetizer #Snack #Savory Chris Gan
