Ingredients

  1. 4 cupvegetable oil
  2. 8pork chops about 1 inch thick
  3. 1 1/4 tspsalt
  4. 1 1/4 tsppepper
  5. 3 tspgarlic powder
  6. 1 pinchcayenne pepper
  7. 1 pinchcelery seeds
  8. 2/3 cupbuttermilk
  9. 1 1/3 cupall purpose flour

Cooking Instructions

    heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F

  2. 2

    season pork chops on both sides with salt, pepper, garlic, cayenne and celery seeds

  3. 3

    pour over milk to coat both sides

  4. 4

    place flour in a shallow dish. dip pork chops into flour and coat well

  5. 5

    using tongs, gently lower chops into skillet. fry 8-10 minutes or until golden brown, turning once. transfer chops to a paper towel-lined plate to drain. serve hot
