Ingredients

8 servings
  1. buttercream recipe
  2. 8 ozicing sugar
  3. 1a little milk if you so wish.
  4. 4oz butter
  5. 1a little vsnallia essence if you so wish but i prefer to not use it as it can make the cream to sweet.
  6. 1a little orange essence if you so wish....leave out vanallia if using orange

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

cream butter and sugar until it makes a nice texture and try for taste if you wish.

  2. 2

if you so wish you can add a little milk for a softer cream and a little vanilla essence for sweetness and taste if you so wish. I leave vanilla out as I find it too sweet.

  3. 3

if you find this a little buttery you can always add a little more sugar or essence etc. if you do add cocoa or coffee etc. then add it dry and mix throughly.

  4. 4

the photo shows a very nice chocolate buttercream after I added some dry cocoa powder and mixed in. a little orange essence

  5. 5

do not add the chocolate orange if you want just plain vanilla

Hi. my name is Sandy and I live in the south east of England, one of the warmer areas lol and I am orignaly from London. I have been happily married for 20 yrs with two teenage children. I have a 1 boy and 1 girl. my son had mild aspergers syndrome and I've also been a foster carer over the yrs. As well as having my own resturant for a long while too, sadly having to give it up due to becoming seriously ill, I have also travelled to America a lot over the yrs with my family. I have never been to Europe though, only Holland when I was younger. I am now 38 but I grew up in a tradtionsl English pub, after my father left working on the Thames as a lightman/ waterman. I have always loved to cook, whether it be tradtional English food or something different and love to experiment with cooking and enjoy knowing that it's enjoyed. I often do outside catering. but obviously not so much, now I don't have my resturant. but whatever, I love to cook and still love to learn or make new recipes everyday.I love to make new friends and am so glad to have found this wonderful app. Happy cooking and I look forward to getting to know some of you xx
