This dish was my creation born in the fridge - I had leftover white rice and mixed veggies. I browned some ground beef and mixed it all together. It turned out so good, I made it from scratch!

When I was a student, my friend's mother told me that cooking the meat this way would make it tender. I'm not sure if this is true or false, but nevertheless, that's how I've cooked beef since then.Serving this steak with fancy sauce sounds great too, but it's also amazing with "Super Versatile Garlic Soy Sauce". Before my father died, he taught me a thing or 2 about cooking. He was brilliant in the kitchen and always made some amazing dishes. This is vegetable soup he made but we called it garbage can soup lol we always had a great time making it and in between the steps, we would play games or just talk. I found a similar recipe on here but it was bland. I left the seasoning recommendations as needed because we all have different preferences. Experiment and enjoy. Grass fed/finished beef and bones plus organic veggies make this a health building meal.

Hearty soup ideal for cold winter meals. However, I grew up eating this in the summer with vegetables fresh from the garden. I've eaten many bowls of this soup at my grandmother's table during summer months while barning tobacco.
