Ingredients

  1. Meatballs
  2. 500 gramslean Turkey mince
  3. 1/2 cupbreadcrumbs
  4. 1/2 cupmilk
  5. 4bacon rashers, cooked, cooled and chopped.
  6. 100 gramsgrated cheese
  7. 1 tspchili powder
  8. 2 tspgarlic paste
  9. 1 tspmixed herbs
  10. 1egg
  11. Sauce
  12. 1 canchopped tomatoes
  13. 1/2vegetable stock cube
  14. 1 tspgarlic puree
  15. 1 tspmixed herbs
  16. 1Finely chopped cooked onion

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 180°C.

    Mix milk and breadcrumbs, and leave for 5 minutes.

  3. 3

    Add the rest of your meatball ingredients and mix gently.

    Shape into balls - you should be able to get 5 or 6 per portion.

    Bake for approximately 30 minutes, or until they start to turn golden.

    For the sauce: Mix all ingredients in a saucepan and heat. I like to blend mine to make it smooth, but that's up to you.

    Add your cooked meatballs to your sauce, and heat gently for a further 10 minutes.

    Serve with pasta and enjoy!
