Ingredients

  1. 1 stickSoft butter
  2. 1 1/2 cupWhite Sugar
  3. 1 boxStrawberry Gelatin 3oz
  4. 4Eggs (room temp)
  5. 2 3/4 cupAlready sifted CAKE flour
  6. 2 1/2 tspBaking powder
  7. 1 cupMilk (room temp)
  8. 1 tspVanilla extract
  9. 1/2 cupFresh Strawberry for Purée (blend)
  10. 29" cake pans
  11. 1Frosting (your choice)

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven 350°F

    Sift flour then measure flour for ingredients. Use a whisk if you don't have a sifter.

    Add baking powder

  4. 4

    Blend strawberries into purée

  5. 5

    Butter trays and line with flour to prevent sticking

  6. 6

    Mix soft butter,Sugar and strawberry gelatin together until light and fluffy

    Separate egg yolks from white. Add one yolk into mix at a time. Thoroughly mix before adding another (this is for fluffy texture). You can skip this step and just mix whole eggs one by one.

    Whip egg whites into soft peaks and fold into batter at the end (You can skip this step and just mix whole eggs one by one.)

    Add flour to wet ingredients along with the milk a little at a time.

    Add strawberry purée and vanilla

    Fold in egg white

    Evenly distribute mix into both trays. Cook 25-35 mins. Let cool. Then frost and enjoy😄

You have mentioned Baking powder in the recipe card but its Baking soda in the instructions. Please rectify.
